At the heart of Our Kids Read is love for children and belief in their potential. Love shows up in small but powerful ways—sitting beside a child, listening patiently as they sound out words, celebrating their progress, and reminding them that they are capable. We believe every child deserves to feel supported, encouraged, and valued.
Community
Raising readers takes a village. Our Kids Read brings together families, volunteers, schools, and partners to create a community united around children and literacy. When communities come together to support young readers, children gain the confidence and encouragement they need to succeed.
